A major highlight was the disclosure of ChatGPT’s global reach. CEO Sam Altman revealed that ChatGPT attracts approximately 100 million weekly users across the globe.
Given that the chatbot has been operational for roughly a year, this number signifies an impressively large user base.

Altman also emphasized the widespread adoption of OpenAI’s AI tools, noting that more than 2 million developers are now utilizing these resources to create artificial intelligence technologies.
Additionally, he announced that 500 of the Fortune 500 companies are leveraging OpenAI’s products, indicating that 92% of the world’s most successful companies are taking advantage of the capabilities offered by this AI powerhouse.
ChatGPT has been hailed as one of the quickest-growing internet applications ever. It was previously reported that the bot had garnered 100 million monthly users within just two months of its launch, a milestone that took Facebook 1.5 years, Instagram 2 years, and X (formerly Twitter) over 5 years to achieve.
